Great place. Friendly and excellent care

I was privilaged to be referred to the Nuffield by the NHS and I cannot fault it. I had spine surgery and was obviously very worried, especially as I had never had an operation before. Every member of staff throughout the process from the pre op nurses to the follow up with the physio after the operation should be commended for their compassionate and caring attitudes. I don't know what I was worried about. Thank you to everyone in the Nuffield and have a very merry Christmas x

Disgraceful behaviour. My 80+year old mother in law appointment cancelled with 24 he notice because Dr brought his annual leave forward ***24 HR NOTICE***. Unacceptable way to treat people and especially the elderly.

I can only give 3 stars for the treatment I received. Medically it was 5 stars. The consultant, the nurses and the radiographer were so lovely, kind and I can't thank them enough. The initial reception is friendly and the ladies there were lovely and dealt with us with friendliness and professionalism. I have had the same treatment on the NHS at New Cross so comparing the 2 I really don't feel I had any better treatment. We had to wait quite a while for the initial appointment but the waiting room is nicer! there is a tea and coffee machine there, but not good coffee. Once I was taken to the scanning area I was really shocked at the way we were spoken to. I had to pay for my treatment as my condition is not covered with insurance. We were spoken to as if we were inferior by the receptionist, she kept asking if we were able to pay. There was no welcome to that treatment area. Just bothered about the money it will cost us. We knew how much it was going to cost and we could afford it but my husband walked away from this lady feeling inferior and actually said, do we look poor! we were also quoted a price when making the appointment and were charged 200 more. The time for my treatments was no different than NewCross and other than the fact I got my appointment quicker and the waiting room was nicer, I can no see any benefit to my treatment there. Such a shame as I expected a better customer service.

Came to the Nuffield for physiotherapy. My physio was fantastic - really helpful, genuine, didn't talk to me like a child (as I'd experienced in NHS), and had a plan for getting me back on my feet. I'm a professional dancer so I don't have time for injuries - my physio understood this and had me back to work quickly. Would definitely recommend.
