They make all the right noises, but fail to follow through with basic quality of service and customer care. Discussed my concerns at length with sales. Still waiting for documents for warranty and service plan 5 months on.Had a dead battery breakdown; the dealership 600 yards down the road didn't want to know. "Get it recovered to us and we'll have a look".. Who do I call? I don't have any contact details for the breakdown & recovery service YOU provide. They wouldn't call them, I had to have the number and deal with it myself.Customer care and quality of service are decades behind the times here. Take care of your customer, or someone else will....
2 year old Tiguan , major fault in the safety system fails and tears the seat belt. Admit its a fault but wont repair it as they say mileage invalidates the warranty. didnt even quote a price just let me drive away in it knowing if i have a crash the seat belt wont save me . looked on the net and this is a common fault with this vehicle
Offered me a car at full market value and added lots of extras I didn't ask for and then stated they would "knock off 200". Other retailerers offered over 4k discount without even asking.
I saved this review until my claim against them returned so here it is. This is not my real name so dont try to discredit me by saying you no record under my name. If I could give lower than one star I guarantee you I would have. I saw a car on their website. First car I was ever going to have. I'm inexperienced in my early 20s. The pictures of the inside showed it was filthy but I thought surely they'd clean it if I said I was coming to see it. I called, put a holding deposit down. I couldn't guarantee what day I'd make it there working 2 jobs with new schedules every week and ended not being able to get the time to travel that far before closing time and couldn't get a day off. My stupid mistake.I tried calling couldn't get the original sales guy and opted for email since I'm not allowed to take my phone past the front door of my job during their working hours. He point blank didn't respond since he knew I wasn't going to purchase it yet the next the car was off the website because it had been sold. I asked them to call me they didn't. I called and left messages for call backs, they didn't. I continued to try to email and got no response. This is all trying to get my holding deposit back. Finally got to speak to my sales guy 'Lewis' he took my bank details said 3-5 days, I waited a week and no money. I called again after several failed attempts and only got to speak someone because I asked for a manager and got a sales manager 'Martin'. The rudest individual I've come across in a while. I asked when id get my money returned he replied "It will probably take as long as it took you to come and see the car". He again promised me 3-5 further days since it was bank holiday the following day so I waited just over a week. Nothing. I had to go to small claims court to get my money back over 3 months later. They couldn't even be bothered to answer the claim against them which meant after 2 weeks it was automatically ruled in my favour.
Good selection of used stock, staff were friendly and approachable. Great service from Tom.Edit: after sales service not too impressive - still waiting on documentation from admin team two weeks after taking delivery of the car. Also due a call back from service manager to discuss why car was delivered with a faulty tail light, despite having the MOT test that morning.
