Steve on mobility is a great guy, after going around different dealerships I released how rubbish some people can be towards you but with him he made it easy and was genuinely a nice man.
DO NOT USEMy car was recalled for a 2 stage issue. On the first stage, they advised once I was there that I didn't actually qualify for a courtesy car, leaving me 10 miles from home. It would have been nice to let me know before I was there so that I could arrange transport.When the second stage was due, they called to let me know the parts had arrived and booked it in. Once they had the car for the day, they called me to advise that it had failed the first stage. After advising them that it had already had its first stage completed, they checked and confirmed that they had made a mistake and they had done the first stage again.They were still adament that they weren't giving me a courtesy car unless I paid. So they had the car for another day to complete stage 2 and do a 25 point check. At this point, 2 days off work unpaid. Finally got the call that my car was done, went in but it turned out that they had forgotten to do the 25 point check. Absolutely disgraceful. I'll never come back here and heavily advise others not to.
Recently went to look at a couple of cars at this garage. On the car I decided on as soon as I sat in it I noticed the chrome trim around the stereo was in poor condition. I pointed this out and was told that it would be replaced before purchase. When we sat down to complete the deal I was offered a lot of extras, which are pushed quite heavily. I guess commission plays a big part in this. I made it clear it was a cash deal to be told Ive got to be offered finance. Again said it would be cash to be told again the sales person needs to go through the finance options with me. After about 2 hours everything was completed and it was agreed I would pick the car up the next afternoon. On my return the next day I saw the chrome trim had not been replaced and this is where things got interesting. I was firstly told it wouldnt be replaced to which I asked for a full refund. Then I was told they would check if they had the part in and if not I could bring the car back for them to replace it. When I agreed to this I was told if I took the car away they wouldnt replace it. In the end the part was replaced after the sales person ran around for a hour and a half. It might seem a lot of fuss over nothing but when Im spending the best part of 11,000 I expect the car to be to my satisfaction. Ive got to say the sales person did his best to resolve everything but the manager was more concerned with what extras youd take out rather than customer satisfaction. If your going to buy a car from here I recommend you stand your ground and be prepared to make a day of it and make sure you try the hot chocolate.
Staff all very polite and helpful. Pushed a bit on extras that I didnt see much value in (depreciation insurance for a 2nd hand car!?) Have had an issue with the car which Im surprised wasnt picked up during their checks, although to be fair it was moved from another branch for us. Have been good at getting it fixed.
