Lovely afternoon tea. Plenty of it too. Chocolate cake wasn't very nice though.
Visited here for afternoon tea just before Christmas with Stourbridge U3A. A lovely setting in an old building. Great selection of food and very tasty. Waitresses were very attentive and we were not left with empty tea/coffee pots as they were refilled frequently. A lovely relaxing afternoon.
We got married here a year ago today, and what a day. The events team were brilliant at helping us organise and prepare for our big day. I made all of our decorations and they dressed the room beautifully and really made the most of everything we bought with us. We were careful to choose a venue that would mean we had stunning backdrops inside as well as out, especially as we couldnt be sure of the weather in December. Luckily we didnt need to worry, we had absolutely stunning photos inside and out. What a room the grand hall is, and what an entrance we made walking across the balcony. All of our guests had a wonderful time, the food was amazing and the staff were lovely. The next morning we had a fantastic breakfast with all of our friends and family, again the food and service was second to none. Id highly recommend The Mount for any special occasion.We are looking forward to our anniversary meal and stay tomorrow.
Good hotel. Lots of character. Popular. Staff helpful, lots of parking spaces, rooms decently appointed. Recommended.
Beautiful building. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Bar Food is a bit limited and on the more expensive side with 4 surcharge for room service. Also the cold taps never run cold! Left it running for ages (which I hate doing) and best I got was lukewarm so had to use bottled water to brush teeth. Water in shower didn't stay at constant temperature either, but I'd still happily recommend. Staff are lovely.
