I do not write reviews but disgusted with the (blondish hair lady) on the ticket desk on 31/1/19 at around 9am, obviously doesn't like to be at work, miserable and rude attitude, she gave me the wrong ticket to start off with told me the wrong platform, had to buy another ticket and she refused to give me a refund for her mistake, other staff on the platforms were very helpful and friendly, I do not get trains often and this lady made my travelling allot more stressful than it should have been! Aswell As the rude response I got off her.

Helpful staff in ticket office and dealt with my query efficiently on platform. Station is being rebuilt currently so a bit of disruption at the front with hoardings and building work going on.

Update: definitely down hill since virgin have gone. Staff are fat rude blokes who haven't a clue in shoddy hi Viz jackets, yes the virgin staff weren't the best and were not proactive in anyway but at least they looked and acted in a professional way. These new guys just looked like they wanted to get back in the broom cupboard for a coffee. Also the lounge on platform 4 is gone.Distinctly worse since not a Virgin run station. West Midlands Railway need to step up to ensure they keep the level of service and get all the facilities back to where they were.

Great station, easy to navigate however can get quite busy during peak hours. Some people are rude and shove you out of the way but that's Wolverhampton to be honest.

Seemed to be an alright enough interchange station, though you have to walk far down the platform to get access to the stopper train to Walsall. Shelter and seating on the aforementioned platform could be better but the station at least has step free access via lifts and two footbridges.
