The agent agreed in writing to reduce their fee as they were unable to check out the newly-arrived foreign tenant. Once they had the money from this excellent tenant, the fee went back up and the agreement was revoked. I caused a fuss and got the refund but dealing with ANY business is a matter of trust and if they can so easily renege upon a deal, they are to be avoided. I am retired and relentless but others might just swallow and move on.
If I could put 0 stars I would. I flet from start to end dealing with yourmove wolverhampton was a sham. There were problems after problems and I was shelling out money and doing exactly what they asked of me as a tenant and potential buyer to do. On one phone call in I was even shouted at by a more senior member of the branch! When they cock-up they do not admit it, take blame or get held accountable. All I would say is if i liked the look of another property in the wolverhampton region and it's being advertised by them I would go elsewhere! What makes it more frustrating was we were first time buyers and could have done with a smoother more friendly approach.
