It really is the worst. Always S*** Service, no sense of urgency and the staff are way more interested in their private conversations than actually serving customers. It's actually quite stressful going here. Only visit if you do not value your time or you are completely and utterly desperate.
Understaffed, always long queues going out the door. The man that can serve at the shop counter can see the queue is long but will just stand there starring instead of calling people over! The staff will see how big the queue is but will still only have one position open which is not convenient if people are in a rush!!! You will pay for 1st class signed for postage to get there the next day but half of time doesnt because of the queues and they decide they wont add it into the postage being picked up that day! PLEASE SORT IT OUT, ITS ALWAYS THE SAME NONSENSE!
As bad as it gets: people deserting their post ("come back in 20min, he's eating"), unwilling to do their job when they're back... you wouldn't think it's possible for a post office to be low rated. Well this place achieves that. With distinction.
WOW!, I have Experienced some Bad Customer Service over the Years but this Place Takes/Took it to another Level!, Don't Get Me Wrong every time I have Visited this Post Office/Shop through Necessity or Convenience to Get Stamps/Envelopes Etc I have got them which accounts for the 1 Star I have Given!, But the Customer Service Warrants a Minus Star rating!, There is a Lady With Glasses who Works Here that has the Attitude & Edge of a Drill Sergeant Instructor but not to be Confused with a Similar Looking Lady with Glasses who is a Lot Friendlier!, I was Served by a Man at the Non Post Office Counter who after Several Minutes of Looking at his Phone/or other Device & then Uttering an expletive finally Looked up at Me & Shrugged His Shoulders in a None Verbal Gangster/street style of What do You want?, I asked Him for a Stamp which He gave Me in a Manner that Clint Eastwood dealing with Villains or Authorities in one of His Movies would have been Proud of before Uttering the Word "Pound!" with no Visible Emotion shown whatsoever!, There is also another Asian Lady who has quite an Abrupt Manner of which she seems to be Totally Oblivious to!.I want to respond to Nick Smiths Comments on here about the Bad Reviews He noticed but He had a good Experience so maybe put it down to the Nice Customers getting Nicer Customer Service!, well at this Point of the 24 Reviews posted 16 were not good as opposed to 8 which were good!, that is a 66% Negative Rating!, Surely all 66 % of us can't be not Nice People?!.!
Staff are rude. Found them rude the last time I went in but gave them the benefit of doubt that they were just having a bad day but it appears not. Also, even though they can serve you at the normal till for most simple post office things (as they do in the evening) they prefer to have a huge queue even though they can see people are in a rush before work while the other person drinks coffee and plays on their phone.
