place to go for your repairs or just a spruce up..exellent place to get your new bike...Jacko is a friendly owner who goes out of his way to help...

I brought a Carrera bike, that needed some major work to get it back on the road.I was greeted by a lovely elderly gentlemen who basically wrote the bike off, he said It would make more sense to buy a new bike.He also mentioned that to get the bike on the road, and to fix all the problems it would cost 300 pounds.A rustey chain was needed to be replaced, and he basically said there was no guarantee the gears would work, and the forks needed replacing, so it was left up to me to make a decision.I then took the bike to Wardys bike shop in Darlaston he made a similar diagnosis, he gave me a choice and said, that for 40 pounds, he would replace the chain and the cables, but no guarantee the gears would work, and if this is the case for an extra 100 pounds he would replace the gears. He carried out the work and it has cost me a grand total of 40 pounds to get the bike fixed.A grand saving of 260 pounds.I have a bike thats working perfectly he has also said that for an additional 40 he will change the front forks at a later date.Jackson Hateley Cycles, need to take note, a sensible pricing structure for repairs need to be implemented.

I went to hatleys for my bike 18months ago and then it was all ready for me to ride after a couple of months I ruined the s-bend for not treating it right so we took it back and was mean to cost 110 and we got a discount as we are very good costumers the mechanic was very fast and the shop owner(s) are very helpful

It's the only place I go trust nobody else with my bikes. Friendly service

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I got very inexpensive tools here, exactly the ones that I needed, and when I could not loosen the screws myself I came back to the shop and they not only did the job for me, but oiled my chain and other parts, so I could handle them myself when I needed to. Also, I came tgere with a puncture and they repaired it within 10 minutes and I was allowed to watch so I could do it next time a puncture happens while on the road. I will definitely come back next time!
