Lovely food, great service. Ed couldn't have been more helpful with setting the table for my partners birthday. I have given four stars as we were forgotten about after mains and not offered desserts but apart from that we all had a lovely evening! Thank you.

So disappointed as we have eaten here lots of times before. Staff are really nice but there just aren't enough of them. Service was really slow, several mistakes in the order. Only small things like wrong chips and wrong peas but significant and chips weren't hot enough. I hate to say that standards have slipped but that was how it felt. They had an offer on which made it good value but hadn't increased staff to cope with it.

2 meals very poor; other 5 were said to be 'fine'. Deserts looked awful and those that had them said they wouldn't have them again. Waitress was lovely, very helpful and polite. The place itself was fine and reasonably priced. Not sure I would go back but would recommend people give it a go as we may have gone on a bad day: everywhere has them.

Went for a late lunch for a family celebration. The staff were very welcoming and friendly especially Amy our waitress she was fab. The food was lovely we all ended up having 3 courses. The wide variety of gin has ensured a second visit from me and the hubby. A very nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon x

Such a shame looking through these reviews and pictures because we clearly just came on an off day. We came for breakfast with high expectations because its a lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere and staff. Unfortunately due to very poor quality of the food, our standards werent met at all, not even close! Normally I take pictures of the food but these dishes werent worthy, no garnish at all, not even a sprinkle of pepper or salt. Extremely bland. We both had salmon and it was clearly the lowest quality, I could taste it in my mouth for the rest of the day. Im sure the rest of the menu is fine but Id rather not leave disappointed again. Maybe the chef was having a bad day, it happens.. but then whoevers job it is to bring the food should say something to them to keep the standard consistent. Heres a picture of the old dried out salmon.
